Client M is running a Comparison Shopping Service in Australia and its innovative comparison shopping technology is making online shopping informative, effective and rewarding. Smart shoppers can save time, money and effort by using comparison website to find the right products from the best merchant at the best price. Product pictures, des criptions, specifications and prices are provided to assist shoppers in making the best buying decisions.
Challenges
• The accuracy and updating speed of product information are essential to a Comparing Shopping E-Commercial website.
• There’re difficulties in working arrangements due to the massive amount of information and variable updating quantities in the backstage of a certain website.
• A large amount of product information needs to be searched via searching engines, followed by final confirmation, which form a significantly complicated procedure. A relatively long time is spent on each individual product.
On-Line Data Service
Early in the year of 2007, Sunyard Inc. successfully won the the bid on several projects on backstage service of various types of products for Client M, and was to establish a long-term cooperation relationship with Clinet M. M authorized Sunyard Overseas Division with the rights of backstage maintenance on 8 categories of products, such as graphic cards and modems. Sunyard Overseas Division takes responsibilities of daily updates of links and data entries of product information of these 8 categories. We guarantee an accuracy of 99.95% and data link within 24 hours.

An 8-person working group is established for M. The crew includes
• 1 account manager - responsible for coordinating and managing work for the entire service process.
• 1 project manager - managing and tracing project process, arranging everyday workload and summarizing everyday project process.
• 4 entry staff (2 categories for each)– to accomplish everyday workload according to instructions.
• 2 quality control staff – responsible for quality control, handing over quality control report (including accuracy statistics, error analysis and providing solutions.)
Working Progress
1. Every day, operators check the amount of updated information, which they take responsibility of respectively and make the report it to the project manager.
2. The project manager schedules daily plans and distributes workload to each operator.
3. Operators make links of updated products and enter data. The project manager helps with any difficulty encountered by operators in the process and make conclusive reports.
4. After linking and entering, Operators hand in to the Quality Control the operation records for check. If any mistake comes up, the Quality Control informs the operator immediately and raises his attention.
5. Ultimately the Quality Control hand in to the project manager the operation record. The project manager makes checks by random choice, after which the project manager informs the account manager, who in his turn sends working report to the client.
